Bout Of Books 8.0: Sign Up

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 19th and runs through Sunday, August 25th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. Hey everyone, I know my blog has been super busy lately but I just wanted to get this post up as soon as possible to declare that I will be joining the upcoming Bout of Books read-a-thon. It's a bit to soon to know exactly what I want to read so I'm not going to include my goals in this post. Look forward to that post later! Again I'm not sure yet but I might combine my goals post and my progress posts. I am really excited though and I'm getting pumped for all these read-a-thons.

Bout of Books 7.0: Wrap Up

In the end...
I reached my goal!
Well technically I didn't have a goal, you can see my post here, but I did want to read 4 books to be proud of myself. I set out 4 books, which I didn't read in the order I planned to read them in, but I'm still super excited that I completed them. In total I read 1339 pages this week, which for me is absolutely amazing. I also wanted to do a few challenges and I did the Create A Cover challenge, which I'm pretty happy with as well. I've had a really good time doing this read-a-thon and I'll definitely make sure I do the next one.

Hi everyone, I probably should've signed up earlier and probably am the last person to join this read-a-thon but I finally decided to give in and just do it. Unfortunately this week I have like a billion exams to do but I'm going to push through it and try to read more than I usually do anyway. My goal for this week will most likely be a lot less than everyone else but normally, I barely even read more than two books in a week. Be expecting a lot of book posts this week as I will be trying to update every single day. I'll throw in a music post somewhere in there but for the most post, this week will be book post after book post. Wish me luck!
