Q: Share something you’ve learned about book blogging or just blogging in general in the last month.

I've learnt many many things in the process of blogging. In the past month, I've learnt how to do things such as the slider that features my latest posts. It was excruciatingly hard but it wasn't too bad. I know, paradox but it was only hard because I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my blog. My experience with blogging has been amazing because I've learnt how to do so many things with blog design. I'm Asian, which makes me really cheap, which means I still have yet to pay someone to do my blog design. I'm guess I'm glad I never did though because otherwise, I would've never learnt how to do things like my blockquote, slider and how to use Photoshop CS6. Just while I'm talking about blog design, just a reminder that I offer free blog designing for all the simple stuff. If there are any elements on my blog that you'd like to see on yours, feel free to contact me.

I know that weekly memes are meant to be forever. I feel really bad 'quitting' but at this point, I don't want to continue doing the Feature and Follow Friday posts. I still and always will follow back anyone who lets me know that they have a blog. Nowadays, I have so many posts that I have to do and this post takes up a day of what could be a different post. I don't like posting too much on one day. Once again, I will still follow back everyone because I love my followers, I've just decided that I don't want to do these posts again. Farewell guys. Especially to Jessica @ a GREAT read who manages to leave a comment on every single one of these posts.

You can continue to leave comments on this post and I will follow you back.

Sit Tight Sunday #6: Applause by Lady Gaga

Sit Tight Sunday is a weekly feature on my blog for me to showcase upcoming music. The original post can be found here.

Genres:
Released: 19 August 2013
Interscope Records

Applause by Lady Gaga is set to be released on the 19th. It will be her first released single from her upcoming album ARTPOP. There has been heaps of talk about it lately but I'm still not sure what the official album cover will be. I'll try to update this post once it's official. Lady Gaga has been gone for a really long time and I'm ready for her return. There's also still no official teaser but again, I'll try to update this post. Gaga did tweet about a teaser but it was just a troll, literally.

Q: Back to School time! Create a reading list for the imaginary English Lit class you'll be teaching this semester.

After a lot of thinking, I thought I'd do an author study kind of thing. If I was teaching an imaginary English Lit class (which by the way, I have no idea about since I live in Australia), I would have to expose them to John Green! His not my all time favourite author but I don't think Nicholas Sparks books would be appropriate for school. Even though John Green explores a lot of scary themes, I still think that his writing is amazing. I still have yet to meet anyone who doesn't like his books. I've read all his books except for The Abundance of Katherines which I really do need to read one day.

Like normal, I love all my followers. I just hope you guys stay loyal. If you like my blog, feel free to follow whichever way is easiest for me. Don't forget to drop your links in the comments so that I can check out your blog too!

Sit Tight Sunday #5: Roar by Katy Perry

Sit Tight Sunday is a weekly feature on my blog for me to showcase upcoming music. The original post can be found here.

Genres: Pop, Electronic, Dance, Rock
Released: 12 August 2013
Capitol Records

It's Katy Perry, I don't know what else I have to say. Who doesn't love Katy Perry? I can't wait until she comes back. Roar will be the first single she released from her upcoming album. The album, Prism, if I'm not mistaken, will come out on the 22nd of October. If you haven't already watched the teaser below, you have to. A 30 second clip of Katy Perry burning the blue wig she wore in California Gurls. You can tell that she's going for a much darker concept compared her first albums. August 12th. So close yet so far away, I can't wait!

Q: How do you handle a book you don’t like? Do you DNF or do you power through?

I normally try my very hardest to power through the books. I think I've only ever marked 3 books as 'Did Not Finish'. Those books were Stolen, A Game of Thrones and The Time Traveler's Wife. Most of the time, I push through because I feel like I have a responsibility to finish them.

I love all my followers no matter how you follow. Just do what's easiest for you! Also, I hope you can maybe check out some of my other posts as well. Finally, one last favor, I hope you can vote in the poll, located in the sidebar, to let me know which comment system is your favourite.

Sit Tight Sunday #4: Illusion by ZE:A

Sit Tight Sunday is a weekly feature on my blog for me to showcase upcoming music. The original post can be found here.

Illusion by ZE:A
Genres: Pop, Dance, K-Pop
Released: 9 August 2013
Members: Kevin. Kwanghee. Siwan. Junyoung. Taeheon. Heechul. Minwoo. Hyungsik. Dongjun.
Star Empire Entertainment

ZE:A aren't an extremely popular band and the only member anyone seems to know is Kwanghee. Honestly, I'm not a massive fan of them either but that doesn't mean that I'm not highly anticipating their album. Coming out next month is their new album Illusion. So far, all the teaser photos that have been released have a really cool concept. I'm waiting to see the teaser of their title track of course the album itself. ZE:A have been releasing songs for their subunits and now finally, their coming back with all nine members!

Q: What do you do with your books after you are done reading them?

Since I read books from the library, well after I read them, I return them. It's sad but true. I also read e-books and so I just leave them there on my device. Being the weird person I am, after I read books that I own, I put them in a drawer. I know what you're thinking but yeah, I have a book draw.

Sit Tight Sunday is a weekly feature on my blog for me to showcase upcoming music. The original post can be found here.

Genres: Pop, Dance, R&B
Released: 22 July 2013
Republic Records

I'm so extremely excited for this song. Baby I by Ariana Grande. This will be the second single in her upcoming album Yours Truly that will be released early September. I absolutely loved The Way which is the first single from the album so I'm sure that I'll love this song. The official single artwork is beautiful and so is the snippet she released on Instagram. I totally squealed when I listened to it. I don't know if anyone else loves Ariana as much as I do but definitely listen to the sneak peak.

Q: Where is the best destination reading spot for you?

Other than at home I really don't read anywhere else. My perfect destination would be at a beach or a nice park. Really though, the only other place I read that's not at home is on the train and I wouldn't really consider that the best destination read spot. My comfy couch or bed is perfect enough for me.

Just making sure that you guys have checked out the Unearthly Radical Read-Along that I'm hosting with Krystianna from Downright Dystopian and Jenna from Rather Be Reading YA. Haven't read? Sit Tight Sunday #2: Shadow by BEAST

Sit Tight Sunday is a weekly feature on my blog for me to showcase upcoming music. The original post can be found here.

Genres: Pop, K-Pop, Dance, R&B
Released: 19 July 2013
Members: Doojoon, Hyunseung, Junhyun,
Yoseob, Gikwang, Dongwoon
Cube Entertainment

Today, I'm featuring B2ST's (BEAST) new album Hard To Love, How To Love. I really love B2ST and all their past albums and singles. I loved Midnight Sun, Fiction and more. So of course, I'm super excited for their comeback with Shadow in a few days. B2ST never fail to make me fall in love with their songs. It is said the MV for the title song will have a dark and masculine concept so I can't wait to watch that either. I can't seem to find the proper album cover or teaser so I'll be updating this post when those come out.

Update:
So the teaser just came out and OMG the fancy symbolic, metaphoric, colouristic, beautastical, wowness, of the scenes look super duper amazingly stunning!

Q: PHOTOBOMB!!! Photobomb a picture with your favorite book. Share it of course.

My favourite book of all time is probably The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay. I was trying to think of an awesome way to photobomb a picture but in the end I just did a selfie because I'm uncreative. Oh well. Hope you enjoy! I don't have the hard copy so I cheated and used my tablet.

Sit Tight Sunday #1: City of Bones Soundtrack

Today I have super exciting news. Well it's not that exciting but I'm pretty happy to be announcing a new blog feature. Basically, every Sunday, I'll be featuring something I'm waiting to come out. Now it's not necessarily a blog hop but if you'd like to join in, by all means do so. The reason I'm not participating in the Waiting on Wednesday blog hop is because it is targeted towards books and books only. Sit Tight Sunday is for me to be able to do music that I'm waiting for. If I ever felt like it, I could do a book as well and if your a blogger with a different theme, you can do anything. I've been neglecting music on my blog and this is my way of bringing it back. Like always, please don't be afraid to leave me recommendations because I'd really really love some. I want to listen to music that my readers listen to. If you have a genre or artist you love, let me know!
Welcome to Sit Tight Sunday by Music Plus Books.

Genres: Pop, Music
Released: 20 August 2013
Republic Records

For the very first Sit Tight Sunday, I'm featuring the City of Bones Soundtrack. Republic Records has released three sneak peek snippets of SoundCloud. What I'm most excited for is Demi Lovato's song Heart By Heart. The snippet proves that it will definitely be an absolutely wonderful song. The album will also have a song by Zedd called Into The Lair. It's definitely different to Clarity but I love EDM. I'm also anticipating Colbie Caillat's and Jessie J's songs. I guess you could call this a double feature since I'm also waiting for the City of Bones movie itself coming out in late August.

Q: Share your favorite book with a war in it, or an overthrow of the government.

With all the Dystopian, there are heaps of books with an overthrow of the government. One off the top of my head has to be Matched by Ally Condie. There are definitely better books that have a corrupt government but the Matched series really displays a government completely overthrown.

Q: Preferred reading format?

I'm planning to do a whole post on this very soon so make sure you follow so that you don't miss it. For now, I'll say that it really all depends. I love hardbacks, but they're expensive. I love paperbacks but like hardbacks, they're heavy. I like e-books but you don't get the full reading experience. I like audiobooks but again, no full reading with paper experience. So as you can see, it really all depends for me.

Activity: Favourite Literary Quote

I don't think the question could've gotten any harder. How am I meant to answer this? This isn't my absolute favourite but it's one of my favourites. I looked through all the books I've read recently and chose one that I think would have lots of nice quotes. I was actually surprised by how many quotes I take note of in each book. After all, quotes are my thing.

by [Dingane] "Fear, sadness. They're not weaknesses. They are overpowering, defining emotions. They make you human, Sophie."

Activity: Spine Poetry. Create a line of poetry with your book spines.

Entwined with you,
I dare you to love me,
But it could be you,
Burned.

Entwined with you,
It could be you,
Burned.

I added four extra words for using four books in the first poem. I like that one better but if I wasn't allowed to put extra words, I'd use the second one. I had so much fun doing this activity! There definitely should be more of these.

Q: Have you broken up with a series? If so which one and why?

I'm not proud of it but I will probably never finish the A Song of Ice and Fire series. I mean, it wasn't terrible or anything but the first book, A Game of Thrones, didn't hook me in enough to inspire me to read the rest. Each book is so extremely long and it probably take me half a year to read it all. Maybe one day.

I'd really love it if you could leave your links in the comments but also if you could maybe look at my other posts as well. I'd love to meet the The Lonesome Chapter. We've e-mailed back and forth and I'd love to meet her in real life one day even though we live in opposites sides of the world. She's really sweet and nice. Maybe one day, we'll get to meet. It'd be so fun!

Q: The #FF is 150 weeks old! And we want to hear from you! What would you change about the hop? What do you like about it? Or just suggest a question to be used for next week!

This is only my third time but I definitely love everything about it. The only thing though, because it's growing bigger and bigger every single week, it would be nice if there were three or four featured bloggers instead of two. Maybe two can be random and another can be chosen? I know that'd waste a lot of time, but it'd be nice to see which blog/s Parajunkee and Alison Can Read actually like.

I'd love it if you could follow me in as many ways as you can.
