Feeling my way through the darkness
Guided by a beating heart
I can't tell where the journey will end
But I know where to start
They tell me I'm too young to understand
They say I'm caught up in a dream
Well life will pass me by if I don't open up my eyes
Well that's fine by me

So wake me up when it's all over
When I'm wiser and I'm older
All this time I was finding myself
And I didn't know I was lost
[x2]

I tried carrying the weight of the world
But I only have two hands
I hope I get the chance to travel the world
And I don't have any plans
I wish that I could stay forever this young
Not afraid to close my eyes
Life's a game made for everyone
And love is a prize

So wake me up when it's all over
When I'm wiser and I'm older
All this time I was finding myself
And I didn't know I was lost
[x2]

I didn't know I was lost
I didn't know I was lost
I didn't know I was lost
I didn't know I was lost

Everybody get up
Everybody get up
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey

[Verse 1: Robin Thicke]
If you can't hear what I'm trying to say
If you can't read from the same page
Maybe I'm going deaf,
Maybe I'm going blind
Maybe I'm out of my mind
[Pharell:] Everybody get up

[Pre-chorus: Robin Thicke]
OK now he was close, tried to domesticate you
But you're an animal, baby, it's in your nature
Just let me liberate you
Hey, hey, hey
You don't need no papers
Hey, hey, hey
That man is not your maker

[Chorus: Robin Thicke]
And that's why I'm gon' take a good girl
I know you want it
I know you want it
I know you want it
You're a good girl
Can't let it get past me
You're far from plastic
Talk about getting blasted
I hate these blurred lines
I know you want it
I know you want it
I know you want it
But you're a good girl
The way you grab me
Must wanna get nasty
Go ahead, get at me
[Pharell:] Everybody get up

[Verse 2: Robin Thicke]
What do they make dreams for
When you got them jeans on
What do we need steam for
You the hottest bitch in this place
I feel so lucky
Hey, hey, hey
You wanna hug me
Hey, hey, hey
What rhymes with hug me?
Hey, hey, hey

[Pre-chorus: Robin Thicke]
OK now he was close, tried to domesticate you
But you're an animal, baby it's in your nature
Just let me liberate you
Hey, hey, hey
You don't need no papers
Hey, hey, hey
That man is not your maker
Hey, hey, hey

I know you want it
I hate them lines
I know you want it
I hate them lines
I know you want it
But you're a good girl
The way you grab me
Must wanna get nasty
Go ahead, get at me

[Verse 3: T.I.]
One thing I ask of you
Let me be the one you back that ass to
Go, from Malibu, to Paris, boo
Yeah, I had a bitch, but she ain't bad as you
So hit me up when you passing through
I'll give you something big enough to tear your ass in two
Swag on, even when you dress casual
I mean it's almost unbearable
Then, honey you're not there when I'm
With my foresight bitch you pay me by
Nothing like your last guy, he too square for you
He don't smack that ass and pull your hair like that
So I just watch and wait for you to salute
But you didn't pick
Not many women can refuse this pimpin'
I'm a nice guy, but don't get it if you get with me

[Bridge: Robin Thicke]
Shake the vibe, get down, get up
Do it like it hurt, like it hurt
What you don't like work?

[Pre-chorus: Robin Thicke]
Baby can you breathe? I got this from Jamaica
It always works for me, Dakota to Decatur, uh huh
No more pretending
Hey, hey, hey
Cause now you winning
Hey, hey, hey
Here's our beginning

[Chorus: Robin Thicke]
I always wanted a good girl
(Pharell: Everybody get up)
I know you want it
I know you want it

But you're a good girl
The way you grab me
Must wanna get nasty
Go ahead, get at me

Eminem - The Real Slim Shady lyrics New Lyrics 2013

Here Is Eminem - The Real Slim Shady lyrics, You can read and save to your media storage for free.

The Real Slim Shady lyrics by Eminem.

[Eminem]
May I have your attention please
May I have your attention please
Will the real Slim Shady please stand up
I repeat, will the real Slim Shady please stand up
We're gonna have a problem here

[Verse 1]
Y'all act like you never seen a white person before
Jaws all on the floor like Pam, like Tommy just burst in the door
And started whippin' her ass worse than before
They first were divorced, throwin' her over furniture
It's the return of the... "Ah, wait, no way, you're kidding
He didn't just say what I think he did, did he"
And Dr. Dre said... nothing, you idiots
Dr. Dre's dead, he's locked in my basement
Feminist women love Eminem
"Chigga chigga chigga Slim Shady, I'm sick of him
Look at him, walking around grabbing his you-know-what
Flipping the you-know-who," "Yeah, but he's so cute though"
Yeah, I probably got a couple of screws up in my head loose
But no worse than what's going on in your parents' bedrooms
Sometimes I wanna get on TV and just let loose, but can't
But it's cool for Tom Green to hump a dead moose
"My bum is on your lips, my bum is on your lips"
And if I'm lucky, you might just give it a little kiss
And that's the message that we deliver to little kids
And expect them not to know what a woman's clitoris is
Of course they're gonna know what intercourse is
By the time they hit 4th grade
They've got the Discovery Channel, don't they
"We ain't nothing but mammals" -- well, some of us, cannibals
Who cut other people open like cantaloupes
But if we can hump dead animals and antelopes
Then there's no reason that a man and another man can't elope
But if you feel like I feel, I got the antidote
Women wave your pantyhose, sing the chorus and it goes

[Hook x2]
I'm Slim Shady, yes I'm the real Shady
All you other Slim Shadys are just imitating
So won't the real Slim Shady please stand up
Please stand up, please stand up

[Verse 2]
Will Smith don't gotta cuss in his raps to sell his records
Well, I do. So fuck him and fuck you too
You think I give a damn about a Grammy
Half of you critics can't even

I stand here waiting for you to bang the gong to crash the critic saying
Is it right or is it wrong?
If only Fame had an IV
Baby could I bare being away from you
I found the vein, put it in here

I live for the Applause, Applause, Applause
I live for the Applause-plause
Live for the Applause-plause
Live for the way that you cheer and scream for me
The applause, applause, applause

Give me the thing that I love
(turn the lights on)
Put your hands up, make em touch
(make it real loud)
Give me the thing that I love
(turn the lights on)
Put your hands up, make em touch

I've overheard your theory
Nostalgia's for geeks
I guess sir, if you say so
Some of us just like to read

One second i'm a kunst
Then suddenly the kunst is me
Pop culture was in Art now ART's in POP culture, in me!

I live for the Applause, Applause, Applause
I live for the Applause-plause
Live for the Applause-plause
Live for the way that you cheer and scream for me
The applause, applause, applause

Give me the thing that I love
(turn the lights on)
Put your hands up, make em touch

Give me the thing that I love

Make it real loud
Put your hands up, make em touch, touch
A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E
Make it real loud
Put your hands up, make em touch, touch

Touch touch
Touch touch now

I live for the Applause, Applause, Applause
I live for the Applause-plause
Live for the Applause-plause
Live for the way that you cheer and scream for me
The applause, applause, applause

Give me the thing that I love

Stacking The Shelves #6: Netgalley + Review Books

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted on Tynga's Reviews. Basically you share what books you acquired that week whether it be physical or digital. Info here.

Hey hey everybody. I skipped last week because I'd thought that I hadn't gotten any books that week. My silly memory was playing a trick on me though because I didn't realise that I did until now. I got two e-books for review from Ichabod Temperance. This week I also got two books that aren't ARCs anymore since they've come out from Netgalley. I will probably still read them though since they were both books I wanted anyway.

Book Review: Crash by Nicole Williams

Crash Nicole WilliamsSouthpointe High is the last place Lucy wanted to wind up her senior year of school. Right up until she stumbles into Jude Ryder, a guy whose name has become its own verb, and synonymous with trouble. He's got a rap sheet that runs longer than a senior thesis, has had his name sighed, shouted, and cursed by more women than Lucy dares to ask, and lives at the local boys home where disturbed seems to be the status quo for the residents. Lucy had a stable at best, quirky at worst, upbringing. She lives for wearing the satin down on her ballet shoes, has her sights set on Juilliard, and has been careful to keep trouble out of her life. Up until now.
Jude's everything she needs to stay away from if she wants to separate her past from her future. Staying away, she's about to find out, is the only thing she's incapable of.
For Lucy Larson and Jude Ryder, love's about to become the thing that tears them apart.
When you first look at my rating, it definitely looks like I quite hated the book. I guess to a point, I did but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it. I gave it 4 STARS on Goodreads because it was a nice read, it just really pissed me off. First things first, I HATED LUCY SO MUCH. She was such a bitch to Jude. Sometimes when I read, I like to take notes and the words I used were A LOT more rude than bitch. I feel like she always thought the worst of him. I mean, she's meant to 'love' him! I had a lot of STFU moments. But, I did like Jude, so that's where that one star came from. His character development was fairly good. I also liked that the parents were present throughout the book and they actually played a part in the story.

The plot pace was really fast. I think that part of this is because it was so predictable. I'm not sure how that worked but I read this in a bout a day or two which is really fast for me. I just wanted to keep reading it even though I didn't. There were a few shockers every now and then which is why I gave the predictability 2 instead of 1. The writing was nothing special. It wasn't bad but I think because I hated Lucy so much, I had to deduct more. See how I gave the emotions a 5? Majority of this is because it got me really riled up but there were those really cute moments too. What's a YA Contemporary without swooning. That's why in the end, I still enjoyed it.

Crash has definitely made it into my love/hate list. Do I recommend it? Probably not the first book that would come to mind. However, if you don't get annoyed as easily as I do, it's a good Young Adult read. I really don't have any intention to read the next book but maybe one day. I hate doing negative reviews but I'm sick and tired of annoying girls. Plus, it's also considered a New Adult so if you want to see more of that genre, this is a good book to check out. Sorry for the ranting.

Capital Cities - Safe And Sound

Here Is Capital Cities - Safe And Sound, You can read and save to your media storage for free.

I could lift you up
I could show you what you want to see
And take you where you want to be

You could be my luck
Even if the sky is falling down
I know that we'll be safe and sound

I could fill your cup
You know my river won't evaporate
This world we still appreciate

You could be my luck
Even in a hurricane of frowns
I know that we'll be safe and sound

I could show you love
In a tidal wave of mystery
You'll still be standing next to me

You could be my luck
Even if we're six feet underground
I know that we'll be safe and sound

But you walk around here like you wanna be someone else

I know that you dont know it, but you're fine, so fine
Oh girl im gonna show you when you're mine, oh mine

Treasure, that means what you are
Honey you're my golden star
I know you can make my wish come true
If you let me treasure you
If you let me treasure you

Pretty girl, pretty girl, pretty girl you should be smiling
A girl like you should never live so blue
You're everything I see in my dreams
I woulda say that to you if it wasnt true

I know that you dont know it, but you're fine, so fine
Oh girl im gonna show you when you're mine, oh mine

Treasure, that means what you are
Honey you're my golden star
I know you can make my wish come true
If you let me treasure you

You are my treasure, you are my treasure
You are my treasure, yeah, you you you, you are
You are my treasure, you are my treasure
You are my treasure, yeah, you you you, you are

Treasure, that means what you are

Cups lyrics by Anna Kendrick.

[Verse 1]
I've got my ticket for the long way round
Two bottles of whiskey for the way
And I sure would like some sweet company
I'm leaving tomorrow what do you say

[Chorus 1] x2
When I’m gone
When I’m gone
You’re gonna miss me when I’m gone
You’re gonna miss me by my hair
You’re gonna miss me everywhere, oh
You’re gonna miss me when I’m gone

[Verse 2]
I’ve got my ticket for the long way ‘round
The one with the prettiest of views
It’s got mountains, it’s got rivers, it’s got sights to give you shivers
But it sure would be prettier with you

[Chorus 2]
When I’m gone
When I’m gone
You’re gonna miss me when I’m gone
You’re gonna miss me by my walk
You’re gonna miss me by my talk, oh
You’re gonna miss me when I’m gone

Jay-Z Holy - Grail lyrics

Here Is Jay-Z Holy - Grail lyrics, You can read and save to your media storage for free.

Jay-Z Holy Grail is a song from "Magna Carta Holy Grail" featuring Justin Timberlake.

[Verse 1: Justin Timberlake]
You take the clothes off my back
And I let you
You steal the food right out of my mouth
And I watch you eat it
I still don't know why
Why our love is so much
Ohhh
You curse my name
In spite to put me to shame
Air all my laundry in the streets
Dirty or clean
Give it up for fame
But I still don't know why
Why I love it so much
Yea

[Hook]
And Baby
It's amazing I'm in this maze with you
I just can't crack the code
One day you screaming you love me loud
The next day you're so cold
One day you here, one day you there, one day you care
You're so unfair sipping from the cup
Till it runneth over, Holy Grail

[Verse 2: Jay-Z]
Blue told me to remind you niggas
Fuck that shit y’all talk about
I'm the nigga, caught up in all these lights and cameras
But look what that shit did to Hammer
God-damnit it I like it
The bright lights is enticing
But look what it did to Tyson
All that money in one night
30 mill for one fight
But soon as all the money blows, all the pigeons take flight
Fuck the fame, keep cheating on me
What I do, I took her back, fool me twice
That's my bad, I can't even blame her for that
Enough to make me wanna murder, Momma please just get my bail
I know nobody to blame
Kurt Cobain, I did it to myself

[Brigde: Justin Timberlake]
And we all just entertainers (x2)
And we're stupid, and contagious

[Hook: Justin Timberlake]

[Verse 3: Jay-Z]
Now I got tattoos on my body
Psycho bitches in my lobby
I got haters in the paper
Photo shoots with paparazzi
Can't even take my daughter for a walk
See them by the corner store
I feel like I'm cornered off
Enough is enough
I'm calling this off
Who the fuck I'm kidding though?
I'm getting high
Sitting low
Sliding by
In that big body
Curtains all in my window
This fame hurt
But this chain works
I think back
You asked the same person
If this is all you had to deal with
Nigga deal with
It, this shit ain't work
This light work
Camera snapping, my eyes hurt
Niggas dying back where I was birthed
Fuck your iris and IRS
Get the hell up off of your high horse
You got the shit that niggas die for
Dry yours
Why you mad
Take the good with the bad
Don't throw that baby out with the bath water
You're still alive
Still that nigga
Niggas you survived
You still getting bigger nigga
Living the life
Vanilla wafers
In a villa
Illest nigga alive
Michael Jackson thriller

[Hook: Justin Timberlake]

[Outro]
Don't know why
Love you so much

Everybody get up
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey

[Verse 1: Robin Thicke]
If you can't hear what I'm trying to say
If you can't read from the same page
Maybe I'm going deaf,
Maybe I'm going blind
Maybe I'm out of my mind
[Pharell:] Everybody get up

[Pre-chorus: Robin Thicke]
OK now he was close, tried to domesticate you
But you're an animal, baby, it's in your nature
Just let me liberate you
Hey, hey, hey
You don't need no papers
Hey, hey, hey
That man is not your maker

[Chorus: Robin Thicke]
And that's why I'm gon' take a good girl
I know you want it
I know you want it
I know you want it
You're a good girl
Can't let it get past me
You're far from plastic
Talk about getting blasted
I hate these blurred lines
I know you want it
I know you want it
I know you want it
But you're a good girl
The way you grab me
Must wanna get nasty
Go ahead, get at me
[Pharell:] Everybody get up

[Verse 2: Robin Thicke]
What do they make dreams for
When you got them jeans on
What do we need steam for
You the hottest bitch in this place
I feel so lucky
Hey, hey, hey
You wanna hug me
Hey, hey, hey
What rhymes with hug me?
Hey, hey, hey

[Pre-chorus: Robin Thicke]
OK now he was close, tried to domesticate you
But you're an animal, baby it's in your nature
Just let me liberate you

I hate them lines
I know you want it
But you're a good girl
The way you grab me
Must wanna get nasty
Go ahead, get at me

[Verse 3: T.I.]
One thing I ask of you
Let me be the one you back that ass to
Go, from Malibu, to Paris, boo
Yeah, I had a bitch, but she ain't bad as you
So hit me up when you passing through
I'll give you something big enough to tear your ass in two
Swag on, even when you dress casual
I mean it's almost unbearable
Then, honey you're not there when I'm
With my foresight bitch you pay me by
Nothing like your last guy, he too square for you
He don't smack that ass and pull your hair like that
So I just watch and wait for you to salute
But you didn't pick
Not many women can refuse this pimpin'
I'm a nice guy, but don't get it if you get with me

[Bridge: Robin Thicke]
Shake the vibe, get down, get up
Do it like it hurt, like it hurt
What you don't like work?

[Pre-chorus: Robin Thicke]
Baby can you breathe? I got this from Jamaica
It always works for me, Dakota to Decatur, uh huh
No more pretending
Hey, hey, hey
Cause now you winning
Hey, hey, hey
Here's our beginning

[Chorus: Robin Thicke]
I always wanted a good girl
(Pharell: Everybody get up)
I know you want it
I know you want it
I know you want it
You're a good girl
Can't let it get past me
You're far from plastic
Talk about getting blasted
I hate these blurred lines
(Pharell: Everybody get up)
I know you want it
I know you want it
I know you want it
But you're a good girl
The way you grab me
Must wanna get nasty
Go ahead, get at me

[Outro: Pharrell]
Everybody get up
Everybody get up
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey

You ain't talkin' to man, holla!
Two doors in the air
And if you celebrating put your cups in the air
Let me see your hands up one time
Let me see your, let me see your hands up one time
Let me see your, let me see your hands up
Hands up, hands up
Let me see your hands up
Hands up, hands up

Pass that weed to a real nigga
Your girl is my biggest fan, windmill nigga
Lil Tunechi in this bitch, where my skateboard?
I jack a nigga queen, I don't play cards
Let me see your hands up like a gun in your face
Gimme her combination I'mma put my tongue in her safe
And if the time is wasted I'mma clean it up like a maid
Make your woman a slave, Weezy F is the grade
Bitches sweatin' me like they been in the desert for days
They say the best kept secret is kept in the grave
New coupe is a dog, no roof on it
Diamond sparkle in my mouth, bluetooth homie
Yeah to say the least, Swizz this beat is a beast
And my homies got that work, they Alicia'n them keys
Hands up in the air like we don't care
And that TrukFit shit is all we wear

All they talk about is dollars
You ain't talkin' to man, holla!
Two doors in the air
And if you celebrating put your cups in the air
Let me see your hands up one time
Let me see your, let me see your hands up one time
Let me see your, let me see your hands up
Hands up, hands up
Let me see your hands up
Hands up, hands up

[Nicki Minaj]
Ayo pass the crown to the real queen
You know the girl get it poppin' like a pill fiend
I got little bunny rabbits in my backyard
So fuck a funny style fraud, tryna act hard
Uhn, you my son, no daddy you a bast-ard
Plus you got mad miles on your vag card
Nah, I can't work with none of them
They talk slick and wondering why I be son'n them
I said bitch I'm a mogul, yes I am global
I don't do Barnes but yes I am noble
Every interview yes I am their focal, point
But I don't give a fuck, Boink
Ain't going no where like horses in a stable
Bitch I'm in the mansion, flossing, clickin' cable
Now where my bad bitches? Where #PrettyGang
T-T-T-Twerk that ass and let dem titties hang!

All they talk about is dollars
You ain't talkin' to man, holla!
Two doors in the air
And if you celebrating put your cups in the air
Let me see your hands up one time
Let me see your, let me see your hands up one time
Let me see your, let me see your hands up
Hands up, hands up
Let me see your hands up
Hands up, hands up

Tatted like a Navajo, she lookin' half Cherokee
Roll down on her when I used to have a Cherokee
Now it's Bugattis, haters keep gettin' bodied
Talkin' can't breathe, hoodlums all in your lobby
I can tell by your shoes that your ponytail new
Tell how you move, I see your Summer Jam too
Tell by the jewels, I'm a hundred grand dude
Really a lot more, I'm talkin' channel 4 news
Blocka they better duck, bullet-proofin' the truck
Crossin' the power circle the nigga ran out of luck
Ridin' in the Rolls, yeah you know it's that don
New crib lookin' like Kim Dotcom

All they talk about is dollars
You ain't talkin' to man, holla!
Two doors in the air
And if you celebrating put your cups in the air
Let me see your hands up one time
Let me see your, let me see your hands up one time
Let me see your, let me see your hands up
Hands up, hands up
Let me see your hands up
Hands up, hands up

You know I'm bout it, whenever, wherever
I'm smoking on strong, this is that steroid era
Got my leather on lookin' like Thunderdome
I got your girl at home, she got that Thunderdome
Let me see you touch the clouds, we could shut it down
From the Dirty South, muzzle on my mouth
Roof, I'm a dog, I'm in it
I pick your girl up like it's a fuckin' calisthenic
If she throw it at me I'mma catch it
Let me see you pat your weave if you ratchet
I see you do your thing when you dancin'
Now let me see you do your thing on the mattress

All they talk about is dollars
You ain't talkin' to man, holla!
Two doors in the air
And if you celebrating put your cups in the air
Let me see your hands up one time
Let me see your, let me see your hands up one time
Let me see your, let me see your hands up
Hands up, hands up
Let me see your hands up
Hands up, hands up

Book Review: Fighting For Flight by JB Salsbury

Fighting for Flight (Fighting, #1)What happens when in order to win, you’re forced to lose? The only daughter of an infamous Las Vegas pimp, Raven Morretti grew up an outsider. Liberated from the neglectful home of her prostitute mother, she finds solace as a mechanic. With few friends, she’s content with the simple life. Flying under the radar is all she knows, and more than she expects.
Until she catches the eye of local celebrity, UFL playboy Jonah Slade.
Weeks away from his title fight, Jonah is determined to stay focused on everything he’s trained so hard to achieve. Undefeated in the octagon, he’s at the height of his career. But resisting Raven’s effortless allure and uncomplicated nature is a fight he can’t win.
Jonah trades in his bad-boy reputation and puts his heart on the line. But when her father contacts her, setting in motion the ugly truth of her destiny, Jonah must choose. In a high-stakes gamble where love and freedom hang in the balance, a war is waged where the price of losing is a fate worse than death.
Will the hotheaded Jonah be able to restrain his inner fighter to save the woman he loves?
Or will Raven be forced into a life she’s been desperate to avoid?
This review is LONG overdue. I read this book all the way back in June for the Debut-A-Thon and I'm finally getting to review it now. As soon as this book started, I knew it was going to break my heart. The prologue was so heartfelt and I was ready to brace myself. As the book continued, I laughed a lot as well. Adding to that, I giggled a lot, like you have no idea how much. This book had so many swoon worthy moments. I was literally smiling so much that my jaws began to ache. The love and romance is just so sweet. A full 5 STARS on Goodreads from me.

I read this book so fast. The pacing was amazing. Right from the beginning, I knew it was everything I love in a book and more. The actual story-line is really predictable though. It's the classic bad-ass player stops screwing every girl when he meets a virgin who's 'the one'. I love it even though some people might be way over it. There was this one part, where Jonah was telling his mum that he's in love with his mechanic and his mum thought that he was gay. It was the funniest thing I've ever read in my life. Don't worry, it's not really a spoiler. Plus, just a note that I 100% support gay rights, hence the featured video in the sidebar.

Once it got to the end, there was one super annoying part. The two point of views create the biggest dramatic irony ever. It's like worse than Romeo and Juliet. I hated it so much because the girl thought one thing but the guy was doing something else. Then Raven gets full pissed at him and I get that she just didn't know but like why can't characters in books just ask simple questions like "What were you doing?" Like all their problems could be fixed if they just talked.

But either way, the epilogue was amazing. It was really the most adorable thing ever. I'm glad the ending was ambiguous. I'm definitely looking forward to the sequel. Thank you to JB Salsbury for giving me a review copy, it has become one of my favourites. If you like New Adult or Romance, or you want to explore either, this book is for you. Trust me, it's amazing, fast paced. It will warm your heart and break it all at once.

Favourite quotes:
"If I flip a coin, what are the chances I'll get a head?"
"You, Raven Moretti, are mine. Doesn't matter if you're a virgin or an alien. What you've told me changes nothing. Not. One. Thing."
"Cute? I don't want to be cute." - "Well too bad, because you are."
"But hope is such a dangerous thing."

One Direction - Best Song Ever Lyrics

Here Is One Direction - Best Song Ever Lyrics, You can read and save to your media storage for free.

Maybe it's the way she walked, straight into my heart and stole it
Through the doors and past the guards, just like she already own it
I said can you give it back to me, she said never in your wildest dreams

And we danced all night to the best song ever
We knew every line now I can't remember
How it goes but I know that I won't forget her
Cause we danced all night to the best song ever

I think it went oh, oh, oh
I think it went yeah, yeah, yeah
I think it goes...

Said her name was georgia rose, and her daddy was a dentist
Said I had a dirty mouth (i got a dirty mouth) but she kissed me like she meant it
I said can I take you home with me, she said never in your wildest dreams

And we danced all night to the best song ever
We knew every line now I can't remember
How it goes but I know that I won't forget her
Cause we danced all night to the best song ever

I think it went oh, oh, oh
I think it went yeah, yeah, yeah
I think it goes...

You know, I know, you know I'll remember you,
And I know, you know, I know you'll remember me,
And you know, I know, you know I'll remember you,
And I know, you know, I hope you'll remember how we danced,
(yeah yeah yeah) how we danced

1,2,1,2,3

And we danced all night to the best song ever
We knew every line now I can't remember
How it goes but I know that I won't forget her
Cause we danced all night to the best song ever
(we danced, we danced, it goes something like)

We danced all night to the best song ever
We knew every line now I can't remember
How it goes but I know that I won't forget her
Cause we danced all night to the best song ever

I think it went oh, oh, oh
I think it went yeah, yeah, yeah
I think it goes....

Best song ever, it was the best song ever,
It was the best song ever, it was the best song ever

Miley Cyrus - We Can't Stop Lyrics

Here Is Miley Cyrus - We Can't Stop Lyrics, You can read and save to your media storage for free.

It’s our party we can do what we want
It’s our party we can say what we want
It’s our party we can love who we want
We can kiss who we want
We can see who we want (2x)

Red cups and sweaty bodies everywhere
Hands in the air like we don’t care
Cause we came to have so much fun now
Bet somebody here might get some now

If you’re not ready to go home
Can I get a hell no
Cause we gonna go all night
Till we see the sunlight alright

So la da di da di, we like to party
Dancing with Miley
Doing whatever we want
This is our house
This is our rules
And we can’t stop
And we won’t stop
Can’t you see it’s we who own the night
Can’t you see it we who bout’ that life
And we can’t stop
And we won’t stop
We run things, Things don’t run we
We don't take nothing from nobody

It’s our party we can do what we want
It’s our party we can say what we want
It’s our party we can love who we want
We can kiss who we want
We can see who we want

To my home girls here with the big butt
Shaking it like we at a strip club
Remember only God can judge ya
Forget the haters cause somebody loves ya
And everyone in line in the bathroom
Trying to get a line in the bathroom
We all so turned up here
Getting turned up, yeah, yeah

So la da di da di, we like to party
Dancing with Miley
Doing whatever we want
This is our house
This is our rules
And we can’t stop
And we won’t stop
Can’t you see it’s we who own the night
Can’t you see it we who bout’ that life
And we can’t stop
And we won’t stop
We run things
Things don’t run we
We don't take nothing from nobody

It’s our party we can do what we want
It’s our party we can say what we want
It’s our party we can love who we want
We can kiss who we want
We can see who we want

It’s our party we can do what we want to
It’s our house we can love who we want to
It’s our song we can sing if we want to
It’s my mouth I can say what I want to
Yea, Yea, Yeah

And we can’t stop
And we won’t stop
Can’t you see it’s we who own the night
Can’t you see it we who bout’ that life
And we can’t stop
And we won’t stop
We run things
Things don’t run we
We don't take nothing from nobody
Yea, Yea, Yea

Katy Perry - Roar Lyrics

Here Is Katy Perry - Roar Lyrics And Chord, You can read and save to your media storage for free.

[Verse 1]
I used to bite my tongue and hold my breath
Scared to rock the boat and make a mess
So I sat quietly, agreed politely
I guess that I forgot I had a choice
I let you push me past the breaking point
I stood for nothing, so I fell for everything

[Pre-Chorus]
You held me down, but I got up
Already brushing off the dust
You hear my voice, your hear that sound
Like thunder, gonna shake your ground
You held me down, but I got up
Get ready cause I’ve had enough
I see it all, I see it now

[Chorus]
I got the eye of the tiger, the fighter, dancing through the fire
Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me ROAR
Louder, louder than a lion
Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me ROAR
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You’re gonna hear me roar

Now I’m floating like a butterfly
Stinging like a bee I earned my stripes
I went from zero, to my own hero

You held me down, but I got up
Already brushing off the dust
You hear my voice, your hear that sound
Like thunder, gonna shake your ground
You held me down, but I got up
Get ready ’cause I’ve had enough
I see it all, I see it now

[Chorus]
I got the eye of the tiger, the fighter, dancing through the fire
‘Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me ROAR
Louder, louder than a lion
‘Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me ROAR
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You’re gonna hear me roar

Roar-or, roar-or, roar-or

I got the eye of the tiger, the fighter, dancing through the fire
‘Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me ROAR
Louder, louder than a lion
‘Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me ROAR
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You’re gonna hear me roar

Big Sean - All Figured Out Lyrics

Here Is Big Sean - All Figured Out Lyric And Chord, You can read and save to your media storage for free.

[Intro]
Finally Famous in this

[Verse 1]
It's crazy how they think you got it all figured out
Just because your bank account gets all figured out
Next time somebody try to tell you how to run your shit
And they're ain't shit
Do yourself a favor and kick 'em out.
Eat good and do that, you'll live a long life
I always say long days is better than long nights
At least in the day you've got shade
In the night its all shadows, don't get caught at wrong lights
I wish somebody would have told B.I.G. that before March ninth
I used to think there's no such things as wrong rights
'Till my stepbrother brought home them extra groceries
Extra cheese, now mom could make her special recipe
Now I didn't know it was off of infested streets
Be the reason I've got to walk with my little niece to go eat
I guess that's the hunger that got me out
At the top of hotel suites renting lobbys out, you know?
Stuntin' like a bitch, prime night to be out
And the girl I've wanted since ninth grade trying to route
That was back when I was seventeen
It's crazy though, cause even then I thought I had it all figured out

[Hook]

[Verse 2]
It's crazy how much you can see with your eyes closed
'Specially if you've got a vision
Or how you could have everything, and still think about everything missing
Like I probably remember the times I missed out on more than the ones I lived
I probably remember the girls that I ain't have more than the ones I did
But I remain a two timing, one girl on the way, two lyin and one b
Smoke so much I need two lighters
Shoppin overseas I do buy it
They taught me that I had to dream, black history month
I wake up and treat the day like stack history month
I'm talkin' Malcolm X, Jessie Flaxon, front of the plane I'm talkin Rosa Parks
V. Swervin like it's O.J. --- oh
To me and my dogs is all gettin out
Somewhere in the club probably all liquored out
Take extra shots for my dogs missin out
That keep remindin' me at the same time
That I still don't have it all figured out
Fact, the only thing I really figured out
Is that i'll never have it all figured out, fuck.
Even when your bank account is all figured out
Even when your bank account gets all figured out
Even when your best friend gets all tricked out

Music Review: Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus

Genres: Pop
Released: 25 August 2013
℗ 2013 RCA Records

Alright alright, let's just ignore what happened at the VMA's for this review.

I love this song so much. It's a lot lot better than We Can't Stop. You can check out my review of We Can't Stop hereWrecking Ball is the second single released from her upcoming album, Bangerz. It's definitely 100% powerful and 100% ballad, hence, a power ballad. I love these kinds of songs. They're really meaningful but they're not slow. It's the perfect balance.

The production of the song and melody make it really catchy. My only kind of problem is that the chorus comes in really suddenly. REALLY SUDDENLY. I guess there's nothing wrong with it and the change in tempo is rather unique but I just like her voice so much better in the verses. I love her almost raspy voice but I took off one star because her screaming chorus is just a little bit too much for me. Either way, I love that she actually sang in this one.

The lyrics are also really nice. You can see the full page on Direct Lyrics. The symbolic metaphor is really amazing and gives the song so much depth.
"I put you high up in the sky
And now, you’re not coming down"
Hence the name wrecking ball. The lyrics are really beautiful even though they portray something sad. Wrecking Ball was overall a really nice surprise from Miley Cyrus. I love We Can't Stop but Wrecking Ball is definitely better.

Bout Of Books 8.0: Wrap Up

Bout of Books
Alright so let's just say that this didn't go as planned. I wanted to read 5 books this week but yeah, that didn't happen. I started off alright with 234 on the first day but it all just started going downhill. 191, 160, 120, 95... I guess I'm not too sad because I know that I still read more than I normally would have. Life gets in the way a lot and sometimes, the universe throws unexpected things your way. I was happy that I hosted a challenge on the second day. 81 people entered! I'm amazed! I didn't complete as many challenges myself but like I said before, life gets in the way. Some days, the challenges just didn't really appeal to me either. I couldn't participate in all Twitter chats because I'm Australian. Stupid timezones.

Sit Tight Sunday #8: All Eyes On Me by Britney Spears.

Sit Tight Sunday is a weekly feature on my blog for me to showcase upcoming music. The original post can be found here.

Genres: Dance-Pop, Pop, Electropop
Released: 17 September 2013
RCA Records

It's Britney bitch. Well not yet but soon! Britney's newest single after all the ones released for Femme Fatale is coming! I feel like Britney Spears has been around forever and I guess she may as well have been. I'm not her biggest fan, scandals aside, I actually do enjoy most of her music. I'm really hoping that All Eyes On Me will fall under the 'like' category. She's made some quite bizarre songs in the past so I'm not exactly sure what to expect. You can check out http://www.britneyspears.com/ for a countdown to the release.

Book Review: Killer Queens by Rebecca Chance

Killer Queens (Kindle Edition)Every little girl grows up dreaming of finding a prince - but what is the fairy tale turns into a right royal nightmare?
Lori is a beautiful, blonde, all-American athlete. When the charismatic ruler of a small, filthy rich European state asks for her hand, she thinks she's snagged Prince Charming. But she soon realizes that all that glitters is not gold...
Belinda was once the most recognized and loved princess in the world. Forced to stage her own death, she lives incognito abroad with her adoring royal lover. Now, she is determined to return to England to see her son Hugo wed, even if it means risking her own life.
Chloe, Prince Hugo's fiancée, is the archetypical English rose. But it's a long road to becoming a princess, even when you're dating the heir to the throne. Perhaps the fairy-tale ending isn't all it was cracked up to be...
Killer queens, scheming kings, murder plots and lashings of steamy sex - find out what REALLY goes on behind closed palace doors.
Killer Queens has three different main story lines. At first, you have no idea how Lori, Belinda and Chloe's stories would intertwine but as the story goes on, it becomes clearer and clearer. Even so, this book has some very unpredictable aspects. You have no idea how many times I just outright gasped. The way Rebecca Chance delivers the bombshells is spectacular as well. You know that something is coming but then suddenly, what you first expected is completely turned around.

Even though Rebecca's writing didn't completely wow me, the way she portrays the character's stories was effortless. The third person she uses still manages to delve into the character's thoughts. She also utilizes short monologues every now and then to bring out the character. Sometimes, I really wanted to scream at Chloe and Lori but in the end, it works out okay. My favourite character has to be Belinda.

The pacing of the story isn't fast but it isn't slow either. I thought that Lori's chapters went the slowest. I was pretty bummed when I realised how many chapters were hers but by the end, I understood that it needed to be that way. This book is 100% drama. Bombshell after bombshell mixed with steamy scenes to make the perfect cocktail. If you're looking for Chick Lit with a twist, this is for you.

So today, instead of doing a review, I'm going to feature an album. An album that is absolutely amazing! Christina Grimmie is a YouTuber that is super talented. Even though she has millions of subscribers, she's still not mainstream. Her latest album, With Love, has been on repeat on my iPod for days now. I thought that it was finally time for me to feature. I was going to do a full album review but I thought that I don't need to tell you why it's fantastic, I can just let you know that it is. I loved her last album, Find Me, as well which is why I was so excited.

I really believe that there is something there for everyone. Just give each song like 10 seconds and I promise you'll find something you like. You must listen to it! Must. My expectations were completely surpassed. My favourites are Over Overthinking You, Absolutely Final Goodbye, With Love, I Bet You Don't Curse God and Think Of You. I pretty much love all of them. It's only $9.99 on iTunes.

Guest Post: London Piano Bars – Don’t Miss The Excitement

No matter if you have visited a London piano bar in the past or are thinking about doing so for the first time in the near future, one thing you have to remember is this: the city you are in will greatly determine what you do next.
For example, those who live in London are well aware that there are many piano bars throughout the city that are well known for providing a high level of entertainment. On the other hand, there are some cities that don’t have nearly as many of these establishments.
If you live in London or are visiting the area, you owe it to yourself to learn as much about piano bars as possible. The more time you spend learning about these the more time you will spend hanging out at these venues.
Believe it or not, some people make an entire night out of visiting one of these bars. They enjoy the atmosphere, the other people, the drinks, and of course, the top of the line music.

Which Ones Are Best?
It may sound like a difficult task to choose the right London piano bar, and you are right to a certain extent. With so many of these to consider, you know that you are going to have to make up your mind at some point in time.
The good thing is this: you cannot go wrong with any choice. Sure, some have a better reputation than others but for the most part you know you are going to enjoy the time that you spend no matter where you and your friends decide to visit.
One of the best in the city is the Boisdale Bishopgate. There are many reasons why this piano bar has a great reputation. The music is high quality and entertaining, meaning that you know you are going to have a good time no matter who you are with. Along with this, the size of the room is perfect. You can hear the music no matter where you are, while still having enough space to enjoy yourself.
If you are interested in a few of the other popular piano bars in London, consider one of these:  Piano Kensington, Show Off Piano Bar, and La La Piano Bar.
Like anything, you are not going to know which one of these you like best until you visit in person. You might as well take the time to stop by for drinks at each one of these establishments as it will help you better understand what they have to offer.
All in all, piano bars are just one of the many things that make London so exciting. It doesn’t matter if you have lived in this city your entire life or are just visiting for the first time, you owe it to yourself to check out the many piano bars in the area. You are not going to be disappointed with the time you have or the people you meet. It is truly a great experience.

Book Review: Star Attraction by Vanessa Stubbs

Star AttractionHe's the most famous and most desired man in the world.
She's a hard-news journalist trying to keep her job.
When Sydney girl Madison Edwards is sent to interview Hollywood heartthrob Jamie Hall, as far as she's concerned it's an embarrassing blot on her credibility. As far as Jamie is concerned, Madison is just one of the thousands of people who want a piece of him. They both turn out to be wrong.
When an unimaginable attraction develops between them, they're momentarily blinded. Could it be true love or just the glare of the paparazzi's flashbulbs?
This stellar debut is a deliciously seductive story of our times, about celebrity and stardom – and about finding something real and true, even when the whole world is watching.
Star Attraction Vanessa Stubbs
Star Attraction is a new Modern Contemporary filled with romance and drama. It comes out today!

First off, I LOVE the main character. I love how professional she is and how she doesn't get super catty at every single little thing the guy does. When the characters do get mad, there's an actual reason that isn't stupid. The concept of a journalist and a celebrity is just a tad bit cliche but I actually really enjoyed the story between Madison and Jamie. There was also another story intertwined with the main one about Lucy, Madison's best friend. I love how the two connected.

The story was very fast paced at first but I feel as though it slowed don't quite a bit near the end before it picked up again. However, the writing was wonderful though. It's different because instead of the classic two first person perspectives, Amanda Stubbs uses alternating third person perspectives. The writing really captivated how the characters felt and what their personalities were like. I like how she explores the theme of jealousy without an overly annoying jealous !%&#.

At points, it was really predictable but then again, a story like this can't happen any other way. I really enjoyed how the story was wrapped up so neatly at the end. Again, expected but still beautiful. This story left me swooning and swooning. It was just soo cute. Definitely a very good read and I'm glad to be reading from an Australian author. I also like how the main setting was right here down under. I definitely recommend this to all Romance and Contemporary lovers.

New Rating System + Mini Book Reviews: Reboot + Losing Hope + Ten Tiny Breaths

Welcome to my new rating system! What I did was, I chose five things that make up a story for me. So now, instead of a simple 5 STAR rating, you get this:
Basically, the characters is how much I like all of them as well as how much development there is. The plot pace is how fast the story went by for me. The predictable is the predictability because I love a story who drops bombshells. The writing depends on how much I liked it as well as how unique it was. Then finally, the emotions is how much of the feels the book gave me, the good feelings and bad feelings.

This is my very first Mini Book Review post. The reason I'm going to be doing these posts is so that I can catch up on my reviews. I'm so behind! I never would've thought that I'd read faster than I'd be able to post reviews. Also, this is going to be the first time I use my new rating system! Are you excited? YES?! These reviews will be, of course, mini. Maybe a paragraph or so just summing up all my thoughts rather than expanding on them. Continue reading to see my mini reviews on Reboot by Amy Tintera, Losing Hope by Colleen Hoover and Ten Tiny Breaths by K.A. Tucker.

Reboot (Reboot, #1)Five years ago, Wren Connolly was shot three times in the chest. After 178 minutes she came back as a Reboot: stronger, faster, able to heal, and less emotional. The longer Reboots are dead, the less human they are when they return. Wren 178 is the deadliest Reboot in the Republic of Texas. Now seventeen years old, she serves as a soldier for HARC (Human Advancement and Repopulation Corporation).
Wren’s favorite part of the job is training new Reboots, but her latest newbie is the worst she’s ever seen. As a 22, Callum Reyes is practically human. His reflexes are too slow, he’s always asking questions, and his ever-present smile is freaking her out. Yet there’s something about him she can’t ignore. When Callum refuses to follow an order, Wren is given one last chance to get him in line—or she’ll have to eliminate him. Wren has never disobeyed before and knows if she does, she’ll be eliminated, too. But she has also never felt as alive as she does around Callum.
The perfect soldier is done taking orders.

I read Reboot because there was like A LOT of hype around it. I was really excited because the concept was really good. The characters didn't have extremely good detail but I can tell that the author is building a base. It was pretty predictable because it's basically a classic Dystopian but I honestly believe that the second book will be a blast. The writing was good too, it was just bland, nothing too special about it for me. It did evoke quite a few emotions though, there was a lot of pity, and quite a few giggles here and there as well.

Losing Hope (Hopeless, #2)In Hopeless, Sky left no secret unearthed, no feeling unshared, and no memory forgotten, but Holder’s past remained a mystery.
Still haunted by the little girl he let walk away, Holder has spent his entire life searching for her in an attempt to finally rid himself of the crushing guilt he has felt for years. But he could not have anticipated that the moment they reconnect, even greater remorse would overwhelm him…
Sometimes in life, if we wish to move forward, we must first dig deep into our past and make amends. In Losing Hope, bestselling author Colleen Hoover reveals what was going on inside Holder’s head during all those hopeless moments—and whether he can gain the peace he desperately needs.
Losing Hope was an emotional train ride, heartbreakingly beautiful and extremely poignant. The letters in this stories were really sad. Because this is a retelling of the first book in the Holder's point of view, it was really predictable but it did show a different perspective on a few things. The writing was amazing because there was so much dramatic irony. You'll meet new characters that weren't in the first book. My heart just broke over and over, all over again. The good thing though, is that at the end, the story gives you the closure you didn't get in the first book.
Fave quote:
"What if the afterlife is worse than the life your running from?"
Fave scene:
"So how are you liking Sky?" my mom asks. She's seated at the kitchen eating her breakfast and reading the paper. I'm surprised she remembers her name. I only mentioned her once. I shut the refrigerator door and walk to the bar. "She's great," I say. "I like her a lot." My mum puts down the paper and cocks her head. "She?" she says with an arched brow. I don't understand her confusion. I just stare at her until she shaes her head and laughs. "Oh, Jesus," she says. "You've got it bad." Still confused. "What do you mean? You asked how I liked Sky and I answered you." She's laughing even harder now. "I said school, Holder. I asked how you were liking school."

Ten Tiny Breaths (Ten Tiny Breaths, #1)Kacey Cleary’s whole life imploded four years ago in a drunk-driving accident. Now she’s working hard to bury the pieces left behind—all but one. Her little sister, Livie. Kacey can swallow the constant disapproval from her born-again aunt Darla over her self-destructive lifestyle; she can stop herself from going kick-boxer crazy on Uncle Raymond when he loses the girls’ college funds at a blackjack table. She just needs to keep it together until Livie is no longer a minor, and then they can get the hell out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
But when Uncle Raymond slides into bed next to Livie one night, Kacey decides it’s time to run. Armed with two bus tickets and dreams of living near the coast, Kacey and Livie start their new lives in a Miami apartment complex, complete with a grumpy landlord, a pervert upstairs, and a neighbor with a stage name perfectly matched to her chosen “profession.” But Kacey’s not worried. She can handle all of them. What she can’t handle is Trent Emerson in apartment 1D.
Kacey doesn’t want to feel. She doesn’t. It’s safer that way. For everyone. But sexy Trent finds a way into her numb heart, reigniting her ability to love again. She starts to believe that maybe she can leave the past where it belongs and start over. Maybe she’s not beyond repair.
But Kacey isn’t the only one who’s broken. Seemingly perfect Trent has an unforgiveable past of his own; one that, when discovered, will shatter Kacey’s newly constructed life and send her back into suffocating darkness.
So good. Just wow. It was so amazing that I cried. The ending was so beautiful that I just bawled. So there were tears but there were also giggles. Swoon after swoon after swoon. I loved the characters and I loved the romance. It was super faced paced and I'm quite sure the effortless writing contributed to this. The only problems I have are, one, I hate it when the girl is being an asshat and she can't see how amazing the guy is. Two, it was REALLY predictable. I feel like the big bombshell was clear from the start. I'm SOOOO excited to read the next book.
Fave scene:
"Forever's a long time."
Trent's arms squeeze around me. "Forever's not long enough when it's with you."
